Description

These bite-sized Grantham Gingerbread biscuits known as ‘white gingerbread,’ so called because they are not made with treacle, as a lot of gingerbread is. The result is a biscuit with a very light, almost pale characteristic and a very delicate, butter and vanilla taste and a tinkle from the most unusual honeycomb centres. The flavour of ginger is very subtle and the heat from it gentle warms the tongue.
